So it's nearly halfway through the '100 days to make me a better a person'. Well, we're a week off, but that's quite a distance further through than I nessecarily thought I'd get in this crazy challenge.
In celebration of this not-quite momentous milestone, it felt time for a raincheck. How's it been so far? Am I a better person yet? What do I do for the next 57 days? And what better backdrop than some 80s cheese. Yes, we're here to save the world... from free-floating phantasms and bad 80s hair, at least. Some things I've learnt so far - there's no better way to keep yourself going than the threat of letting down a (probably) non-existent internet audience, when I'm stuck for an idea I reach for the macro setting, and that snow seems to have taken over my photos. What I have found is a marvelous little group of people all posting and updating and egging each other on, and I've had some lovely support and great conversations. I'm very much looking forward to the London meet-up on Friday, to hopefully see some people in the flesh. It seems I've even sparked inspiration, not on the 100 Days project but for a friend to start his own Project 52, and I encourage you all to follow him to see if he does indeed post every week... The biggest challenge I've found is spotting something I think will make a good photo and little story, and I've realised I've left the field too open without setting myself some themes, subjects or something to focus my mind. Yes, (probably) non-existent internet friends, I need your help. To keep making me write better and take better photos, will you set me a subject? I need your ideas for subjects and themes to kickstart my imagination. Can you help me fill the remaining 57 days with something other than snow?
